Top of the Pops
I have found out that in 2012 Top of the Pops has sold 78,352 copies. This suggests that this version of a pop magazine is very popular and has a wide ranged audience.This is reflective of the BBC TV show Top of the Tops which had its highest viewing figures in 1979 of 19 million. This is one of the reasons that I decided to focus on the pop genre for my music magazine as there are so many people interested in it.
